THIS TYPE OF CHUTING is used with the GAU-19/A 12.7mm Gun and other similar type weapons.

IT IS TYPICALLY USED on utility and scout helicopters and on a number of ground based vehicles, such as the Hummer. It is also used on light patrol boats and on larger naval craft requiring close-in protection against minor threats.
